My writing career began in a newsroom.

It was so invigorating that I took on as much writing and editing work as I could find. But in 2018, a sudden opportunity popped up for an executive assistant role in New York City, and there was no way I could turn it down. Fast forward several years and a few tech companies later, I found that I had fine-tuned my communications, writing, strategy, and editing skills more than ever but had lost the driving motivation to keep going, all while shifting my mental health aside.

I left my job in tech in 2023 and dove into full-time freelancing and working with B2C copy aimed at positively engaging with an audience seeking wellness and mental health.
